Marketing Automation Manager
Location: Portland, Oregon

IIA is hiring an experienced Marketing Automation Manager at its corporate headquarters in Portland, Oregon. The position requires working in a professional environment in IIA’s downtown Portland, Oregon office.
The Marketing Automation Manager will be responsible for creating and executing IIA's e-mail, social and online marketing campaigns.
Build and implement marketing workflows, user segmentation/scoring, surveys, and leveraging dynamic/triggered messaging to optimize email campaign engagement
Develop and implement end-to-end journey and lifecycle email campaigns which includes campaign planning and design, list management, campaign health monitoring, and post campaign analysis
Develop, set up, perform QA, and execute on-going email campaigns and marketing automation programs. Assist with analyzing and optimizing email campaigns, tests and channel level impact
Set-up and deploy marketing automation workflows, landing pages, and communication journeys
Set up business rules that drive content, triggers, audience segmentation, and channel selection/cadence
Quickly identify and troubleshoot any performance issues and demonstrate an ability to drive successful resolutions
Ensure tests conducted are measurable and can be tied back to business impact
Design, build, launch, and maintain new email programs such as upsell, cross-sell, and reengagement programs
Work with Web team to develop new Pardot Form templates and implement Pardot Forms and Pardot Form handlers as necessary
Work with Pardot and Salesforce CRM fields to support implementation of marketing automations.
Collaborate with Director of Marketing Operations to develop executive dashboards and show how Marketing efforts are driving revenue & ROI
Seek input from Sales and Marketing teams in order to maintain and iterate lead scoring and
Manage and optimize email segmentation and overall list hygiene
Influence process improvement
Ensure we are adhering to CAN-SPAN, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience in marketing automation/email/CRM in a fast-paced demand or lead generation environment, preferably within a subscription or lifecycle based business. Agency or client side welcome
Analytical thinker with a can-do, problem-solving attitude and a depth of knowledge in digital analytics, campaign tracking, and ROI metrics
Experience with A/B and multivariate email testing required
Excellent project management skills with a bias towards action against goals, on-time delivery, and flawless execution
Strong interpersonal skills that foster teamwork and inspire confidence
Strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to communicate both upwardly and cross functionally
Experience with Salesforce CRM and Pardot or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required
Exceptional Excel skills
Knowledge of Siftrock, ReturnPath, SQL, Google Analytics a plus
A can-do attitude
Must be comfortable wearing many hats and okay with ambiguity
Passion for building programs and systems from the ground up
Strong desire to test & learn, and share insights in layman's terms
Strong communication skill
